To file for a Protection Order follow the following steps:

Step 1. Please click here to access the KSCDV guided interview in both English and Spanish  - the interview explains important safety concerns, necessary qualifications, court processes, possible relief, resources and other considerations a survivor should consider before seeking a protection order.

Step 2. Please click here to access the Kansas Protection Order Portal -  submission from the portal electronically files your forms with the District Court.  Questions take about a half an hour to answer.  The portal is a Kansas court funded online portal for the purpose of allowing persons who seek a protection from abuse, stalking, sexual assault and/or human trafficking order to file online (electronically).  The portal is free and the portal can be accessed on a mobile device, computer access is also provided at the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office.
